Eizo CG2400S is the most affordable model in the CG series — and it also offers the highest contrast ratio: 1800:1.
According to the official technical recommendation from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU TECH 3320), SDR reference-grade content should ideally be displayed on monitors with a contrast ratio above 2000:1. Lower contrast values — down to 1400:1 — are acceptable when the white point is set around 70 nits, but considering the growing popularity of OLED technology, the closer we get to 2000:1, the better.
That’s why, if you work in film or professional post-production, the CG series should absolutely be on your radar.
This monitor is also available in a version with SDI inputs — the CG2400SV.

It’s genuinely worth it. We can pre-condition your monitor for 50 hours, ensuring calibration stability for up to 2000 hours instead of just 50. We also offer fully reference-grade calibration for 1, 2, or 3 color profiles of your choice.
This gives you 10× the value of a standard reference calibration - and this pricing is only available while the monitor is new and purchased from us.
Consider purchasing the Calibrite Display Pro probe and ColourSpace ZRO software. This allows us to generate a true spectral profile for your setup - and with that, you’ll never need to pay for professional calibration again.
You can also purchase our course: “Professional Calibration of Eizo Monitors” — a step-by-step guide to the most high-end calibration workflow available, using just ColourSpace ZRO ($40), a Calibrite Display Pro colorimeter, and the spectral files included when you buy this bundle from us.
